Star Patrol have since claimed that they are responsible.The site was taken down by the group in a reported DDoS attack 'just for lighthearted fun.' This image shows the page that users were faced with when they tried to access the site as it was downThe outage began around 8.30pm GMT (3.30pm ET).Users were left unable to access the blogging website, and many took to Twitter to complain.And some users weren't happy with Tumblr's Twitter page, which deleted tweets about the hack once it had been fixed.
