This makes me yearn for some poolside lounging and perhaps a quick dip. Unfortunately, my Canadian Tire plastic pool from yesteryear has seen better days, and I haven't yet mustered the courage (or tolerance) to brave the crowds at any of the public pools around the city. They're usually well kept, moderately populated, and sometimes open to non-guests. That is, if you don't mind forking over a little extra cash, or else, risking a trespassing charge. The Sheraton Centre on Queen Street has Toronto's largest indoor/outdoor heated pool, along with--yes--a poolside bar. There's also lots of space for lounging on deck, which means fighting over chairs is just a slight possibility. A day pass for non-guests is $30, and the pool is open 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. during the week, and until 11 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. The Thompson HotelThe Thomson Hotel's rooftop infinity pool offers spectacular views of the city, which is unfortunately reserved for hotel guests and condo residents. Of course, you can always opt to drop a buck or two and stay the night, or else try to stealthily make your way up 16 floors. The view, as they say, is priceless, after all.

The Four SeasonsFor a little lounging luxury (and $65) you can experience the Four Season's third floor pool, which is actually an indoor-outdoor pool surrounded by a sundeck. Sprawling out on a lounge chair, you can enjoy water spritzers and chilled towels as you soak up some sun. Open 5:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. every day. Hyatt RegencyThe Hyatt on King offers another pool with a view, reserved for guests only on the 17th floor. Opened seasonally, the outdoor pool can be enjoyed with poolside snacks, meals, or drinks, and unfortunately for pool-crashers, there is always an attendant on duty. Radisson on Queens QuayThe Radisson on Queens Quay opens its outdoor pool seasonally, along with its patio and lounge area with a fabulous view of Toronto Harbour. It pool is open to non-hotel guests for $30 during the week, and $40 on the weekend. Make sure to bring plastic along with your swimsuit, since the Radisson takes payment by credit or debit only.Delta Chelsea (Bonus pool)The Delta Chelsea doesn't allow non-guests to use its pools, but that waterslide visible off of Yonge is sometimes just too hard to resist.

Rumour has it Canada's largest hotel is not impenetrable in this regard. Ahem--I will say no more. Deck 27 is Delta's pool for adults, while its Family Fun Zone on the second floor offers a pool for everyone with, yes, the famed corkscrew waterslide. Right in the middle of the hotel is a wonderful pool, with water slide plus a kiddie pool. There's basketball nets, volley balls, frog slide, hot tub, and a weight/exercise room right next to the pool. We have stayed here a number of times of the past few years, as we make a number of trips (as a family) to Toronto. It is by far my 11 year old's favorite, who has been coming here since she was about 4. The room are also very nice; clean, comfortable beds, with a nice size bathroom. The breakfast buffet in the mornings is a bit expensive if you do it more than a couple of times, but it is excellent.

The hotel is also very conveniently located on the 401, allowing access to shopping and even downtown in about half an hour. I have no complaints about this hotel, and it will continue to be our destination in future trips to TO. 736 reviews sorted by: Easy to reach from the highway and plenty of parking. I try to stay at the Delta chain of hotels whenever I can. I usually find great value and a level of product that I feel comfortable with for the price. I can say that I have stayed at many of their properties throughout Canada and have found all of them to be in line with what I expect and have been happy with my stays. With that being said.. This hotel does not seem to be an actual Delta hotel. Part of the "Delta" experience is their reward program. Things like free high speed internet, a signature club lounge, a free breakfast etc.

None of these things are offered at this location.I am a Platinum member and was staying for 5 nights. I was not offered the free complimentary breakfast that I am at every other location. I was not upgraded to a nicer room upon arrival (as there is no differences in the rooms). I was not offered the high speed internet. There is no club lounge, no signature club anything. Upon arrival I was also told that they did not accept american express (my company card) as they are under new management. Even though I booked the location under American express. Upon checkout I was able to use the American express for some reason?!?They should replace the elevators as they are very slow (sometimes a 10 minute wait).I have still not received the credit on my aeroplan or my delta profile for staying 5 nights here.... this makes me wonder if this is actually a Delta or not.... Maybe it will be changing in the near future?The hotel itself is pretty good for what it is. The people working there are very good at what they do and are friendly.

The place is kept clean and I had no issues with the room.It appeared that many people really enjoyed the pool and fitness area.There was a function going on in the pool area with a loud speaker which probably upset a lot of people with rooms facing the pool. So be sure to get a room in the tower if possible. Room Tip: Go for the tower, not facing the 401. Quality from the minute you enter the front door.I was greeted immediately, checked in quickly and expertly, and made to feel important in the process.Food was good, service was better.Rood was well decked out, clean and in great condition. Good view from teh fifth floor.Very close to shopping if you're into that.I will definitely use this hotel as often as I'm able We came in for the CMAO event. The front desk staff were very helpful and our room was nice. The beds were very comfortable and clean. We were advised that our room overlooked the pool and I was glad they told me because I havean allergy to chlorine, it causes me to have asthma attacks.

They were very helpful in finding us an alternative room. Housekeeping were very pleasant and sweet people helping us with our needs during that day. We attended a conference for two days at this hotel and it fitted our requirements nicely. Our room was on the third floor and convenient to the meeting rooms. The hotel has a nice salt water pool with slide and adjoining work out room. The work out room has cross trainers, treadmills, some free weights and and othe lifting machines. The gym has two TV's not connected to the earphone jacks on the machines, so if you want music, bring your own. Towels and cold drinks are provided. The pool is constantly monitored by staff when it is open.The staff were friendly and helpfull. I forgot my razor and I was given a disposable at no cost from the front desk. There is a mall just two minutes away, and a larger five minutes away, if you wish to shop. There was no fridge in the room, but there was a coffee maker.The beds were comfortable, with lots of pillows and parking was included in the price.

The hotel is easily accessible and well priced for Toronto, but it is not downtown. Friday saw arrivals of many families with small children. Avoid the pool during supper hours. Rooms are available overlooking the pool. We ate a couple meals in the pub, and the food was reasonably price, with large portions and of good quality. We woud stay here again. Room Tip: There are rooms that overlook the rooms if you are travelling with a young family. We stayed at this place for my son's hockey tournament. From the outside it looks very nice and so does the lobby. The pool was great for the kids. However, our room especially was average only having 2 double beds and the bathroom were disgusting. The tile floor was dirty, there was mold on the ceiling, the white tiles around the bath were black and the ceiling in the shower was rusted all the way around. The GFI plug in the bathroom did not work, but was quickly repaired when advised. There was no small fridge or microwave in the room, which tends to be the standard these days.
