FUC the Yelper's Reviews Has anyone ever rented a steam cleaner?  Where's the best place to go (who has fair policy/prices)?  Do I need to buy my own cleaning solution or is it provided in the rental?  I'm assuming that any cleaning solution provided by the place of rental will be pricy so is there a supply store that provides pre-mixed solutions for a reasonable price?  I also plan to pretreat the carpet with a dilute 1% chlorine solution prior to using the steam cleaner.  The pretreating solution should be dilute enough not to cause any problems but does anyone have any experience in doing this?  Or perhaps I need some other sort of carpet cleaner? My dad has always used Home Depot and has never had any complaints, but I believe it would actually be better to just call some professionals to do it.My dad used to be a professional carpet cleaner so he was confident to use the machinery on his own, but if you've never done it before, the machine is heavy and hard to get used to.

I thought about a service but it would be hard to have someone come over because of my doggies.  They'd be so traumatized (both the service and the dogs).  It would be better if I could do it myself.  I also want the ensure that a chlorine pretreat is used - my dogs came down with a nasty little bug and the only way to completely kill any traces of the virus/bug is to use a chlorine solution.
