pool tile cleaning trailer

Excessively hard water is a problem for swimming pools. Calcium absorbs chlorine rapidly, taking it out of service. It is very difficult to balance your chemistry when your pool is full of dissolved minerals. You find yourself adding more and more chemicals to try and maintain a clean pool. You can feel and smell these chemicals and it isn’t the nicest swimming experience. Chances are that you won’t be able to keep up with the chlorine demand and algae will gain a foothold in your pool. As swimming pool water evaporates, the hardness minerals stay in solution thus scaling the liner, tile, pumps and motors. Bring out the pumice stone! Having some calcium is important as it holds the liner together but too much will decrease the life span of the pool, pumps and filters. In the American Southwest, water coming out of the tap is typically pretty hard to start with so this is a problem most of us are familiar with. For those of you who like numbers, the recommended level for calcium in a swimming pool is 200-400 ppm.
For the longest time the only solution to dealing with hard water issues in a swimming pool was to drain your pool and refill it. Many pool professionals would recommend that you drain your pool and start over every 2-3 years. This is not a sustainable practice!!! Water is a precious resource and there is an alternative. Living in the San Diego area where water conservation is in the news all the time, the good people atPool Services Technologies decided there had to be a better solution. Why would you waste hundreds of thousands of gallons of water when it can be recycled instead? About four years ago they designed a mobile filtration trailer with a large industrial reverse osmosis (RO) system inside. The RO system runs off a generator and since it uses high pressures membranes to filter the swimming pool, it makes water loss extremely minimal. When they recycle a swimming pool, they are usually successful in conserving 85% of the water. They call their system ‘Puripool’.
How the Puripool system works: 2 hoses are dragged out to the swimming pool The intake hose has a small pump attached to it and brings the swimming pool water into the trailer The water passes through RO membranes that remove calcium, phosphates, CYA and other hardness minerals. The return hose takes the filtered pool water back to the swimming pool and the water is pure enough to drink. The unit can process 40,000 gallons of water a day. This service is slightly more expensive than draining and refilling but infinitely more sustainable. best upright carpet steam cleanersBy recycling instead of draining a swimming pool you will conserve thousands of gallons of water. carpet cleaning equipment in arizonaThe water coming out of the Reverse Osmosis process is soft and pure enough to drink. auto steam cleaning kansas city
It is more pleasant to swim in and will extend the life of your pool equipment. Another problem you avoid by recycling the water is that the pool may experience some damage while empty. The hydrostatic pressure of a full pool helps to keep the lining from cracking. Soft water uses up chlorine more slowly and helps you to maintain a sanitized pool with less chemicals. One of the neat things about this Puripool process is that it can be done while people are still swimming. carpet cleaning spray gunThere is no downtime for your pool. best steam cleaners with attachmentsWhen it is as hot as it was yesterday, that’s a big plus.clean carpet stains with iron Pool Services Tech is custom designing their mobile filtration trailers so others around the US and world can buy them to use with their current business.
