Over time, it may become clogged, hindering its ability to remove fresh particles from the pool. Look for a leaf basket near the weir -- the skimmer flap that prevents debris from re-entering the pool -- and empty it, rinsing it out completely. swimming pool cleaners roboticOnce you've replaced it, turn the filter setting to "backwash" and turn the pump on. This flushes debris out of the filter into the waste pipe. After a few minutes, set the filter to "rinse" and wait another minute or so with the pump running.
