We completely get it—sometimes we need a break from the desert. Some of these Las Vegas pools are so green and lush, you’ll forget you’re in Vegas. GO Pool at Flamingo is an adult-only pool in a lush, tropical atmosphere. With all the greenery, you’ll almost forget that you’re in Vegas! This Las Vegas party pool keeps the energy pumping with fruity cocktails, contests, go-go dancers and live DJ music. Other amenities include daybeds, cabanas, a waterfall fixture and a private pool oasis. Music and themed drinks amidst an island atmosphere—what more could you ask for? Hotel guests receive free admission except during special events or non-resident DJ performances. For a more relaxed, family-friendly environment, visit the Beach Club Pool area. Surrounded by the resort’s breathing landscaping, chill out in a cabana, have a blast with the pool’s water slide or challenge new friends to a game of pool basketball or volleyball. Work up an appetite and head to Beach Club Café, serving up tasty snacks and refreshing drinks.

Admission is complimentary for hotel guests. You can also experience paradise at Rio’s VooDoo Beach. This tropical pool retreat greets you with a sandy pool entry. Amenities include four pools, waterfalls, three whirlpool tubs and the VooDoo Beach Bar. Hotel guests and Seven Stars®, Diamond or Platinum Total Rewards members receive complimentary entry. For a 21-and-older experience, head to The Voo, featuring live DJ music on the weekends. Bring out your playful side and head to the game area, which includes beer pong, ring toss, latter golf and cornhole. Cool off and sip on specialty cocktails while watching flair bartenders at Cruzan Island Bar. For a more tranquil experience, rent a cabana or daybed, or take relaxation to the next level with poolside spa treatments. If you’re having a pool day, why not sight see too? Located at Paris Las Vegas, the two-acre Soleil Pool sits right beneath the hotel’s Eiffel Tower replica. With this elevated pool area, you’ll also have views of the famous Las Vegas Strip landmarks, including a unique, up-close view of the Eiffel Tower.

Other amenities include a Parisian-style garden, poolside massages by the hotel’s Mandara spa and cabana rentals. Grab a bite at Café du Parc, or refresh yourself with a frozen vodka lemonade. Caesars Palace’s Garden of the Gods, one of the city’s most impressive attractions. We touched on Venus Pool Club earlier, but that’s only one element of this beautiful landscape. We’re in complete awe of the pool’s stunning architecture. In addition to Roman statues and towering columns, Garden of the Gods features seven distinct swimming pools, an 18-foot-tall waterfall and beautiful fountains. Play swim-up blackjack at Fortuna pool, socialize at Neptune pool or have a quiet relaxing day at Jupiter pool. But back to sightseeing: If you’re all about the architecture, take a dip at the Temple pool, an elegant pool complete with columns and the most coveted views of the entire area. Satisfy your hunger at Snackus Maximus, featuring light American fare. For cabana and daybed rentals (or to luxuriate poolside with a massage from Qua Baths & Spa), call (702) 731-7266.

While you can play poolside games at Flamingo and Rio, Bally’s Las Vegas Blu Pool takes it to the next level. Play a round or two of tennis right next door before plunging into the huge, sparkling Olympic-sized pool. Also, this is one of the few pools in town that actually has a deep end—12 feet to be exact! After getting serious laps in (or not), enjoy the quiet, peaceful atmosphere. Lounge here for the day in a cabana, each featuring a personal host and waitress. Now open, The LINQ Pool offers gorgeous views of the High Roller and LINQ Promenade. And despite the upcoming season’s sweltering heat, there will be a cool misting system around the entire pool deck. The main pool has open seating, or you can rent one of four lily pad daybeds. The second pool is located on a standalone elevated deck, surrounded by tables available for rent. Chill at the center bar which includes four flat-screen TVs and a drink menu featuring a bevy of frozen drinks, cocktails and beer.
