pool cleaning sunshine coast I've booked a trip to Las Vegas in April with my wife and a couple who are looking to tie the knot whilst there, so I am planning a mini 'Stag' for my friend (the ladies are doing some spa thing) and am looking to visit the gun store for a bit of target practice and then we would like to shoot some pool and have a few beers

, can anybody suggest a good pool hall/lounge/pub that is either on the strip (unlikely I know) or not too far from it? approx table rates would be cool too. Hi, We married in Vegas last May, and my husband also had his stag do out there. They didnt come across any pool tables, but said that some Sports books in the hotels will show some english sport - football etc. They just went on a bar crawl from MGM down to Wynn, calling in at each casino on the way - if you have been to Vegas before, this quite some distance!! They chose to gamble & saw some of the 'sights' Vegas nightlife has to offer, but I've been assured it was all above board!! lol - it depends on what you are into I suppose!! There may well be some pool tables or bars, but I think you may have to go off-strip. For pubs, Nine fine irishmen in NYNY is very good -good drink & excellent atmosphere. Its pricey compared to UK pubs, but is very good & worth a visit if only for 1 drink. Thanks for that, have considered the pub crawl option but we are eating/drinking in margaritaville later in the evening so don't want to get too drunk too early!

that's why we were looking for something to do (other than gamble) If you cant find a pool hall, then Sports Books are a good optin - they usually have good comfy seating and cocktail service - they show every type of sport imaginable. fyi - one of husbands stops was in margaritaville and they werent very impressec - I've seen mixed reviews on here, but it did look quite run down & Hubby said that although they had fun, there were far better places which they went to - I suppose it depends what you're into and the type of thing you like. There is similar themed restaurant in TI (I think it's called Kahulaville) which I've heard is excellent - we walked past on our way to another bar, and it looked like great fun. For something different, there is an indoor skydive centre close to the Strip as well. I know that there are pool halls in Vegas. There is one somewhere on the south side of Sahara, between Paradise and Maryland Parkway, I think. Maybe in the Commercial Center that also houses Lotus Of Siam?
