For more information, call 760-341-1000 ext 6035. Indian Wells Resort Golf We have stayed here in both a 1-bedroom and 2-bedroom condo. I have 2 kids and allow them each to bring a friend (so they keep busy and dont fight atll the time!!) The 2-bedroom was perfect. The girls shared the room with 2 twin beds, the boys had the sofa bed. Enough room for sure! Will always get a 2-bedroom with 5 people. Poolside bar is nice -- a little expensive but that is what you get for convenience. A kids smoothie is $5 which adds up quickly.
Kids had a blast in the pool, playing basketball. Never used the gym but it looked pretty well stocked and was looking into the basketball courts -- a little entertainment while you worked out. Room Tip: We stay on the ground floor since Ihave kids and I dont want them clomping above people. 663 reviews sorted by: I stayed here for a birthday weekend with friends and family. The timeshare belongs to a friend. I enjoyed this experience. The pool area is very large and kid friendly. The rooms were spacious and the bed was heavenly. The kitchen contained everything we needed for cooking. This resort is in an excellent location, close to shops and restaurants. If you're looking for some fun pool side, this is your place. Doesn't hurt there's a bar that also serves food. You'll never need to leave. I've stayed here a couple times now and the staff are nice and very helpful, the rooms are comfortable and it's easy to get around the grounds. There's always a good mix of people and folks seem to be having a good time.
Room Tip: Some of the rooms are a bit dated in style, you may want to ask if they have updated rooms. My boys are ages 5 and 8, and we all love Palm Canyon Resort & Spa. It is a great place to take children. The water slides and pools accommodate children of all ages. The children's pool starts out between 12 - 18 inches and progresses to 4 feet. They allow you to put life jackets on your children, which made me much more comfortable for the 5 year old going down the slide. We enjoy the pool side eating, and the food is actually very good. The lodging is very clean and more spacious than some of the newly built structures today. We like having the patios for lunches and watching the activity around. The view of the mountains is very beautiful and in the evenings the sky is so dark allowing you to see the stars so clearly. We found walking paths around the resort, in addition to the resort activities. Room Tip: This about if you want a pool side room or one that faces away from the pool, they will be much quie...
I have been a member for many years...always paying my MGV-HOA dues on time and on line....I finally received thankyou points for an additional few days stay, short break just before Christmas and at the end of the year the points expired: THE POINTS EXPIRED.... We have been to this resort every year for the last 4 years. Although the furnishings are a bit outdated, everything is clean and well maintained. Last time we had a broken toaster and the staff jumped all over it. My kids LOVE the pools and the slides. The "snack bar" at the pool is very reasonably priced, and my kids love to order outside. Its also VERY close to downtown Palm Springs for evenings out. We frequent Ruby's diner when we have the kids. If you don't like kids, this is not the resort for you. Although I"d prefer having a washer/dryer in the room, this resort has them at the end of every hall, and I've never had to wait. Jacuzzi tubs in the bathroom appears to be standard in every room, even the "bachelor" units.
