The foam rollers need to be white or it will not get traction in the pool. posted on Dec 21, 2015 The pool is a magnapool so it is self chlorinating. Chlorine is never added. Every time I test the water it says chlorine ok. So how can I get the algae off the rollers? I would usually recommend rinsing the unit after use before storage. The foam rollers is very similar to your everyday sponge, just denser. I'm not sure how bad the condition is but try cleaning it...

With proper care and maintenance... 1 of 4 pagesWe wanted to give pool and hot tub owners an easy, tech savvy, virtually hands-free way to monitor their pool or spa and keep it in prime condition, and we developed an awesome piece of hardware and a simple, intuitive app to do exactly that.
We're pretty stoked at the result, and we're pretty sure you will be too. The Sutro system doesn't do everything, though. It monitors temperature, chemicals, pH, UV exposure, and can tell you what doses to which chemical are needed to keep your pool or hot tub clean and clear, and it can even help you order chemicals when your supplies are running low—but it won't take care of dirt and debris that finds it way into your pool. For that, you'll need to turn elsewhere. And we've got a few cool pool cleaning gadgets in mind. The reusable filters and easy to remove and empty—even the murkiest of pools doesn't stand a chance when the Dolphin's in the water.Say goodbye to manually vacuuming your pool and to inefficient and ineffective robot cleaners. The Dolphin has been earing show-stopping reviews since it first debuted, and it's easy to understand why as soon as you've seen this thing in action. Crawling along the bottom of your pool and even up the walls, this high-grade gadget houses a powerful pump that sucks water through its bottom, filters out debris, and pumps clean water out the back.
This commercial grade handheld pool vacuum will eat through anything that lands in your pool, giving you a spotless floor and helping you keep your water crystal clear. It's designed for—and often used in—commercial pools that require 'round-the-clock maintenance and will also make quick work of any backyard pool no matter how tree-lined your property is.The Dolphin is great for most residential pools, and the fact that it can run almost entirely by itself (aside from filter cleaning) is a definite plus. For industrial-strength spot cleaning, though, it doesn't get much better than the Pool Blaster CG.Simply set this bad boy on your swimming pool's surface, and it does all the rest, skimming gently along and scooping up leaves and other floating debris before it has a chance to sink, break up, and make your water murky. A clean pool surface is the best way to get a clean pool bottom, and the Solar Breeze makes it effortless right out of the box.Looking for a low-key to keep your pool's surface completely leaf-free?
