The carpet had the smell of old mildew and dog urine, and had not been cleaned for a few years. The house now smells and looks great! A bonus, I had some boxes FedEx had delivered and could not lift. They are coming back next week to finish off the rest of the carpet. We were so pleased that we had a second crew restore our wood floors. Because of a leak, we had wet floor boards under our refrigerator and we are trying to sell our house. We also had a couple of deep marks and scratches, so we decided to get the entire floor sanded back, refinished, and re-stained. As they were doing it, all the dust gets sucked back into a hose which goes into a container in their truck. We really like that aspect of their process. Update, they just left our house finishing the wood floors, it was 1,200 square-feet all refinished!
