But the length of the cord needs to be lengthened or shortened by about 3", so it would clamp about mid-way along the wound cord. My first machine, when wound onto the cord holder, ends up with the clamp/plug right at the bottom. Then, when you tip the unit back to roll it, the plug comes free of the clamp and you run over the cord. I didn't even know they made them without attachments. So I was pleased to see there was a machine with only the attachment. This little machine is crazy good. It is light weight, super easy to tote around, very compact, easy to change out and fill the water (don't spill it the first time), cleaning capabilities that far surpass any other machine attachment I have used (I have had about 6 in 20 years) and the suction is 2nd to none.

The Rug Doctor has a motorized brush head that works rather well but I think could use a little improvement by having the motorized beater brushes a little longer. My question is I can never seem to get the cleaning tool cleaned thoroughly after use. There are small dirty fibers stuck inside between the sides of the clear cover and the main body of the tool which cannot be rinsed out and there is no way to get even a tiny brush in to clean it. Can the clear plastic cover be removed for cleaning purposes? Worked for awhile but now sprays black water on the carpets.

I purchased this Bissell to clean a set of dining chairs that I purchased second hand from Kijiji. The chairs had seen more than their fair share of spills and stains, and they definitely needed a good cleaning. Can I just say the results were fantastic? All of the spills and stains came out nicely, and now the chairs look (and smell) brand new :) After I finished cleaning the dining chairs, I decided I would also clean the upholstery in my (also second hand) car, and the results there were also fantastic. My car smells fresh & clean. If I could redesign this product, I would want to be able to open the brush head. As much as I rinsed the brush head after use, there is still a little bit of upholstery lint stuck inside. If I could open the plastic cover on the brush it would make it so much easier to clean. All of the other parts were easy to remove and rinse.

The purchase of the Bissell Little Green Machine was one of the best investments I've ever made. I've had my eye on this Little Green Machine for a while now, and then Walmart decided to put it at a great price for Boxing Day, and I'm glad I picked one up. It's picked up so many old stains in our house that there was no need to rent an expensive steamer from the supermarket that I would use just once. Of course, it doesn't make the carpet look brand new, but I'm very pleased with the results. I cannot do without this little machine. I use it for my stairs, furniture and car seats. It does an amazing job and has kept my house looking great despite two messy children. Finally managed to purchased the Little Green Machine!! We've had this model for about five years, while it does spot clean very well when our kitties throw up hairballs, we think the design needs some tweaking, because the sprayer head gets filled with cat fur and hair from the carpet, and there's no real way to get it out of the sprayer head or the dirty solution bin too.

We've tried rinsing it with a shower head, stream of water from the sink, using an old toothbrush to get inside to clean it better, but, the sprayer head needs to have a way to remove the plastic end cap in order to really get the collection of hair, fur out of it completely. Also, the dirty solution bin has a strange shape so it's ALSO very hard to remove any fur that collects after carpet cleanings, my husband had to take a garden hose outside and squirt it alot to get most of it out..The sprayer head is the most stubborn because nothing we've tried gets the fur and hair clumps out! I've had two of this and my tip is: only buy if you dont need to use it often otherwise it will only last for a year.

I have two dogs and often accidents on my carpet so I use this machine around two, three times a week, after a few months the hose breaks, then got fixed on warranty. This happened with the two I had. Then after fixed on warranty only last a few more months and goes to the garbage as it's already out of the 12 months warranty and it costs to fix same as buying a new one. My conclusion is, very low quality material. Only buy this if you will use once a month. More than that you only have this for a year. Not made to last. Been over a decade since cleaning my wool carpet. The Little Green cleaned better than I expected. Dirt removal is a understatement. In my case it was more like mud. I cannot write enough of how pleased I am. I will clean my carpet more now, since it was so easy and even fun. Bought this before Xmas and just used forJust wish it had of come with the proper size screw to put the handle on. Had to buy the correct size screw before using machine.
