atlanta hotel with pool slide
Located 8 miles from Six Flags Over Georgia, this Powder Springs, Georgia hotel is 40 miles from Stone Mountain Park. Does anyone know if there is a hotel in the Atlanta area (suburb would be fine) that has a water slide in the pool area. I have noticed that some Holiday Inns are starting to do this. My 4 year old would love it!! I am not aware of any, but that does not mean they do not exist. Since we live here, we rarely use the hotels here. The ones I have stayed in were catered to business and not kids. If you do not find one, you have two more options: There is the Six Flags Water Park in Marietta, and Lake Lanier Islands in Gainesville; both are water parks with tons of slides. 2 destinations mentioned in this post I'm in Marietta and I am not aware of any either. There is also Sun Valley Beach in Powder Springs. It is a glorified cement pond with slides. There are several in Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge if you are ever in that area. 3 destinations mentioned in this post

I just got back from an amazing weekend at The Glenn Hotel downtown. A friend of mine had recommended it, and I am so happy that he did! It's literally the lap of luxury, and the staff is courteous, knowledgeable, and very friendly. The rooms were very elegantly decorated, and the beds quite comfortable. We were able to dine at Maxim Prime, which is Jeffrey Chodorow's new venture, and thoroughly enjoyed our experience.
This luxurious hotel is also a great value! They had a wide variety of entertaining package deals, and it's location (right across from the CNN Center) puts it within walking distance of the Aquarium, the Dome, World of Coke, etc... They offer free parking which adds to the value. We had tickets at the Fox Theater, and the front desk arranged a private car for us - nice touch. We even received $10 off when we used the code: Alisa when we made our reservation. All in all, this is a great hidden gem in a sea of chain hotels in downtown Atlanta. I give The Glenn Hotel my highest recommendation!Drury Inn & Suites Atlanta AirportWonderful place to stay and we...Wonderful place to stay and we found an Angel on duty at this hotel... The rooms were fresh and spotless, as were all the facilities. This is a great airport hotel, with everything you'd look for in such a place. The breakfast is good, healthy and 'tasty' selection. The restaurant was also kept very clean. They have a great happy hour that was a nice welcome after traveling a bit. They offered a good selection of finger foods and up to three drinks for free during their happy hour. They offer a free shuttle service that’s very friendly, fast and reliable, to take you to the airport, and we were able to leave our car there free for up to two weeks while we were away. Will definitely stat here again and again. Many thanks to the staff – and again (especially Velita), who took a lot of time to look after our needs. Loews Atlanta HotelI recently stayed at the Loews for a staycation in the city. I wanted to get away for a night and thought the hotel would be perfect for that. When I arrived at valet I was greeted by friendly employees who offered to grab my bags and opened the doors for me. Check in at the front desk was super easy and quick. I stayed in one of the VIP suites on the 25th floor which required room key access via the elevator to get on the floor.
