Add water to proper level. Connect filter and pump. For d.e. filters open air bleed knob on filter until water shoots out. Add recommended amount of d.e. filter powder slowly into the skimmer. When pressure gauge is 10 lbs. Over clean running pressure the filter needs to be cleaned. Cut the chlorine pack a 1/2” below the recommended cut line for optimal chlorination. Place skim vacuum over basket in the skimmer. Make sure pump is full of water and move vacuum head slowly across the bottom of the pool to vacuum. When done vacuuming remove vacuum head from the water. Remove skim vacuum and clean basket in skimmer. Do not try to remove the skim vacuum before removing vacuum head from the water.
